Military Locker
There are many different kinds of lockers used by the armed forces. By and large military lockers have come to mean lockers designed to store military equipment such as uniform and boots as well as military equipment. These are heavy duty lockers that are welded, have ventilated sides that provide maximum visibility and ventilation. These come in a variety of styles, single tier, double tier, triple tier with hinge doors and recessed locks and latches.
For added security, these lockers are either anchored to the wall or to the floor. These lockers are built from rolled steel and are heavy. These are made with heavy duty welded wire, either 4 gauge industrial or 8 gauge commercial welded wire and expanded material either in galvanized or powder finished coating.
The lockers can either be stand alone or can be combined to accommodate the gear of more than one person. These lockers, also known as "Military TA 50 Lockers" have been used traditionally by the armed personnel for many years for their storage needs.
The TA-50 Military Locker:
This has been approved by the government for all armed forces equipment storage. These can be designed specifically for Navy and Air Force.
TA-50 Military Locker for Air Force:
The Air Force uses the all welded steel TA-50 military locker, constructed using heavy 12 gauge carbon steel angles to frame 13 gauge x 3/4" expanded and flattened metal. These specifications make the locker heavy and tamper proof. The lockers are provided with shelves and specific areas to store equipment like Helmets and coat rods and hooks to hang the Survival Vest, Harness, D-Bag, G-Suit and G-Vest storage. These extra-tough TA-50 military lockers are powder coated to give them an even finish.
TA-50 Military Locker for Navy:
The Navy Locker is an all welded locker built with steel angles and material similar to the Air Force locker. It differs in design insofar as it needs to accommodate the 8 pairs of boots that the naval personnel require as per regulations. It also comes with a hangar bar for hanging uniforms and a secure cabinet for personal effects. It can also incorporate hinged doors with padlock hasps for easy utility. This is also powder coated.
Some of the advantages our TA Lockers offer include:
They are sturdy and can be used to store heavy military equipment
They are provided with locks to ensure secure storage
The shelves and lay out is designed for easy usage and accessibility
At each intersection, the wire mesh is welded and secured with angles. This provides strength and durability
These are powder coated in army colors to provide finish, blend with the surroundings and to make them corrosion proof.
All military lockers are built as per government specifications to endure the toughest of conditions.
The TA-50 design is particularly favored by the armed forces for its storage needs
because it is strong and secure.
